My research focuses on the rheology and transport of complex non-Newtonian fluids, integrating experimental investigations, polymer melt processing, and CFD-based modelling to understand and optimise flow behaviour in engineering systems. A central theme of my work is the rheological characterisation of complex fluids, with emphasis on structure–property–flow relationships under realistic processing and transport conditions. I combine laboratory-scale experiments, custom-designed test setups, and numerical simulations to develop practical and energy-efficient solutions for slurry transport, erosion–wear, and fluid handling applications.
