Nano ESCA is a special photoemission energy microscope tool (PEEM) combined with a double hemispherical analyzer to improve energy resolution. PEEM element Nano ESCA has several 2D deflectors that can switch the deflecting modes between angular- and spatial-resolving modes. Such 2D deflector arrays with double-hemispherical energy filters allow multi-functional measurement modes, such as PEEM, energy-filtered PEEM, dark-field PEEM, ARPES, etc. We are working with AICT(KR) to construct a Nano ESCA facility to study quantum materials, molecules on surfaces, organics on surfaces, and device applications.
