Students in High School or younger should say "Mrs. Arneson". Parents/Adults may say Mrs. Arneson or Sarah. This should be similar to how you address a school teacher.

Please use the FriXion line of pens, markers, or highlighters that are made by Pilot. The FriXion line writing utensils all erase extremely well and are perfect for adding colored notes or markings to your music!

My favorite right now is FLASHNOTE DERBY. It is free on android devices. It may be a paid app on Apple devices. It is a great note quizzing app. On the main screen, you select what notes to be quizzed over before starting the game. I also take this a step further and have the student play the note on their instrument as well as providing the name of the note.

Piano Adventures Player - I have purchased everything and have this available during lessons.
- Play along recordings of the songs from the Piano Adventures Books
- You can change the speed of the recordings on the app
- Recordings do cost money but are less expensive than buying the physical CD (The free download will give you 3 free songs per level.)

- The free portion of this app can be very "videogame" like.
- The paid portion may be worth it for your student depending on the needs of your student.
