Welcome! 

I am a postdoc in the Nonlinear Algebra Group at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences in Leipzig, where my mentor is Bernd Sturmfels.

I received my PhD in May 2026 under supervision of Martin Ulirsch at the University of Paderborn. I began my PhD at Goethe University Frankfurt in July 2022 and moved to Paderborn when Martin took up a position there. Before that, I completed my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in mathematics at the University of Heidelberg, where I wrote my Master's thesis under the supervision of Luca Battistella.

My research interests are in algebraic geometry and combinatorics, with a particular focus on tropical geometry, matroids and buildings, tropical linear spaces and principal bundles on tropical curves, as well as on positive geometry and combinatorial methods in the theory of chemical reaction networks.
