Career Summary

I am an upcoming Postdoctoral Associate in the Mathematics Department at the University of Maryland, working under the supervision of Dr. Abba Gumel. My research will focus on mathematical modeling (infectious diseases) and applied dynamical systems. I received my PhD from the University of Texas at Dallas under the guidance of the late Prof. Zalman Balanov, Prof. Dmitry Rachinskiy, and Prof. Wieslaw Krawcewicz. My PhD thesis is based on the equivariant degree theory and its application in symmetric dynamical systems.

Before moving to the USA, I graduated with an M.Sc. in Mathematics from Savitribai Phule Pune University (formerly known as the University of Pune), Pune, Maharashtra, India, and received a B.Sc. Honors degree in Mathematics from Burdwan University, Burdwan, West Bengal, India. I was honored to achieve the top rank across Savitribai Phule Pune University, earning three prestigious gold medals in recognition of my academic achievements, and secured the 3rd rank across Burdwan University.
