"Follow Me"
The Army Infantry School, based at Fort Moore, Georgia, is a training institution that prepares soldiers for infantry service, with critical contributions from the 198th Infantry Brigade, the 199th Infantry Brigade, and the 507th Infantry Regiment. The 198th Infantry Brigade is tasked with conducting basic combat training (BCT) and advanced individual training (AIT) for new infantry soldiers, focusing on foundational skills such as weapons handling, marksmanship, physical fitness, and basic combat tactics. This brigade ensures that recruits develop the necessary skills and mindset to transition from civilians to capable infantry soldiers.
