Research summary

My research aims to improve our comprehension on tectono-metamorphic, magmatic and hydrothermal processes occurring in subduction setting by combining field works and numerical modeling. By following this approach, I try to provide new natural observations, as well as physical constraints from numerical simulations, to build realistic geodynamic models. This leads me to work in different areas within the Mediterranean realm, including the Alps and the Aegean region.

Among my current research interests, one can name:

  • The role of subduction interface hydro-mechanics on tectonic underplating process, associated fore-arc deformation and topography building.

  • The relations between 3-D subduction dynamics, crustal deformation and magmatic-hydrothermal processes in arc and back-arc domains.
