Chapter officers
Consist of President, Vice-president, treasurer, event coordinator, public relations head, and secretary.
Term is for one academic year.
Qualifications
Shall be in good standing with chapter.
Chapter officers may not miss one-third of meetings
Advanced notification of absence must be sent to secretary to be exempted from meeting attendance.
Extenuating circumstances will be evaluated by the current officers and faculty advisor.
Elections
Held at the officer election meeting or through email balloting prior to the officer election meeting.
Person willing to run for office must email secretary 4 weeks prior to the election meeting
Ballots: 2 weeks prior to the election meeting
Voting: Members will be allowed for one vote per position
Appointment: by the majority of the votes. In case of a tie-up, the candidature will be reviewed by current officers and faculty advisor.
Eligibility
Full-time college student with a valid interest in the mission and goals of ARMA.
Privileges
Members allowed to participate in all activities arranged by the chapter, including but not limited to meetings, events, and field trips.
Revocation of Membership
Can be revoked for cause upon a unanimous vote by all officers and the faculty advisor.
Calling of Meetings
Will be announced in advanced.
Attendance
Will be taken for each meeting.
Quorum
Two-thirds of total members shall constitute a quorum for transaction of official business.
The bylaws are subject to initial approval by the student chapter, after submittal to and subject to revision by the Student Affairs Committee. Following the initial approval, these bylaws may be revised at any time by a vote of at least three-fourths (3/4) of the members of the organization in good standing, with regard to state law, the student code of conduct, the bylaws of the Associated Students of the IIT-ISM, and the Budget Committee operating rules.
