General Steps for Arlo Camera Base Station Setup

1.   The first step requires the installation of the base station to set up the Arlo camera.

2.   Connect the Ethernet cable to the base station to connect the Arlo camera with WIFI.

3.   Register on Netgear Arlo Account to Sync the base station with the Account and for the Netgear Arlo Ultra Camera setup support.

4.   Now you have to insert the batteries into the camera.

5.   The next step would be to Sync the Arlo cameras to the base station.

6.   The last step is to position the Arlo Cameras according to your needs.

Going to set up/install your base station

You can link your home network to Base Station so that you can access your camera streams from anywhere.

Installation of base stations:

1. To connect the base station to the internet, first attach an Ethernet wire from the base station to your router.

2. After that, set up your system by connecting the AC adapter to the base station.

3. Insert the AC adapter into the outlet to switch on the Arlo Camera's Base station.

4. Push the On/Off button on the station's back.

In about two minutes, the Internet and power lights will become green. You've set up your base station.

The base station has three different types of lights, including green, amber, and blinking LEDs:

1. The base station is powered on, as indicated by the green light.

2. Green blinking signals the firmware upgrade is active. DO NOT TURN OFF THE BASE STATION OR CAMERAS.   The base station has lost power.

3. Green: The base station has an Internet connection.

4. Green blinking indicates that data is being sent online by the base station.

5. Amber: Despite being connected to the router, the base station was unable to connect to the internet. The base station and your router are not yet linked.

6. Green: The base station is connected to the cameras.

7. The base station is attempting to sync with a camera when it flashes green.

8. A camera is too remote from the base station if the amber light is blinking.

Let's Configure Arlo Account

Once the base station is configured, download the Arlo app and create an Arlo account. The Arlo station will be connected to your account. The Apple App Store or Google Play Store is where you may get the Arlo App. Now access the Arlo App on your smartphones. Go to arlo.netgear.com in your browser's address bar if you're using a computer.

Go to the account creation page, fill out the necessary information, and then carry out the next steps.

Put the batteries in:

1. Slide and keep the power of the camera's bottom-mounted latch.

2. Slide the battery door open, then lift it to reveal the compartment for the batteries.

3. The camera's rear requires the installation of two batteries. When connecting the positive and negative terminals of the batteries, take care.

5. Lock the battery door closed.

Set up your Arlo cameras as follows:

The Netgear Arlo camera's base station must now be synced with the Arlo cameras.

1. The Arlo camera's base station must be at a distance of one to three feet, or between 30 cm and 100 cm, from the camera.

2. For around three seconds, hold down the Sync button on the base station camera's side before letting go.

3. After a brief interval, a green light will show on the base station.

4. For roughly two seconds, press and hold the Sync button on the top of the camera. When the sync is complete, a blue LED on the camera blinks quickly to signal. The Power LED on the base station will begin blinking after the camera syncs. This shows that the firmware of the camera is being updated.

5. Do this for every camera.

6. Please be patient; the procedure will take a while to complete.

You can connect Arlo cameras in that way.
