About me

I have successfully completed my Ph.D in Geotechnical Engineering from IIT Kanpur, under the supervision of Dr. Prishati Raychowdhury (home.iitk.ac.in/~prishati/). I am currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Majhighariani Institute of Technology & Science (MITS), Rayagada, Odisha. My doctoral research endeavors to numerically assess the performance of post end-substructural zone in an elevated railway bridge under various loading conditions. For this project, I employed an open-source software (OpenSees) in conjunction with Tcl (Tool Command Language). During my M.Tech, I conducted extensive experimental research on the diffusion of heavy metals through soil, which falls within the domain of Geoenvironmental Engineering. My academic journey has provided me with a strong foundation in addressing practical challenges related to soil–structure interaction and devising effective solutions.
