Press

Progressive music magazine "Hatross"

"Finist the Clear Falcon "This largely instrumental album is the fruit of the heart’s work, the mind and the hands of one person, a musician, who prefers to call himself the Aryan Priest. the esoteric philosophy of Indo-European Vedism. Music is definitely not for everyone.

Personally, I cannot say that this is mine, that I understood and accepted the album entirely, but that it was made by an extraordinary and talented person is 100% true.

Through all 8 tracks the author’s worldview and his approach to understanding and creating music (although he was invited to perform and arrange

The “Slavic Traditional Ensemble” character of the main author has preserved itself): dark, angry and frantic, as well as melancholic and refined, almost always sad and thoughtful.

Clever and beautiful music, to describe which is a thankless task.

The boundaries of such things will never find. Folk folk instruments predominate in the group’s instruments (but this does not make the album music

brighter or more fun).

However, gloomy sounds do not kill life, although I really lack the dynamics. Because of this feeling, all things seem a bit monotonous, therefore I advise you to listen to the album more than once and not twice. If you have the ability to listen and hear the non-obvious - it will come to you."

Resurgam 2007

Finist the Clear Falcon

... Higher and higher rises a formidable bird, and tears from its chest is not a scream, but a cry of rage and hatred of the enemy. Winds the song like a blizzard. Unexpected rhythmic knocks catch breath.

... In the last ravine of the forest, a monster lurked - it beckons and threatens at the same time, it rears up, fits, trying to devour the traveler as a whole, with bones. Watch out for the beast, a stranger. The stranger will be gone for nothing, and there he will have a road - do not go to our native forests.

... It is reflected in a transparent mirror of a pond of a branch of a tree. And in a weightless boat, a mermaid became sad. What are you sad about, honey? Oh good fellow, which released under the laughter of girlfriends? You did not wish his doom.

... Hit Mother Earth Cheese, turned into a gray wolf dean. He looks at himself in the surface of the river, finds out with difficulty. He growls, snags, pulling his withers, preparing to rip the foe's throat for the Russian land.

Superior folk black ambient with beautifully recorded drums. Roaring vocals appear here and there, exactly roaring, he, in my opinion, does not “speak”.

Juicy garish canvases with the most DIFFERENT moods. A set of tools and tonalities are not in surplus, but HIT by surprise of moves and author's FANTASY.

Fans of ambient with drums and people openminded will undoubtedly appreciate and recognize the originality of this creation. The hard-nosed blacksters, I dare to assure, also listened, not without pleasure.

Why? Because the main emotional component in strength and tension is not inferior to the samples of the BM genre.

Is there "black" there? Sufficiently.

Is there a drive to the development of a musical theme? Required.

Is there "magic", pagan magic? To a large extent. Actually, this is what amazes from the first minutes of listening, it catches your attention and rigidly holds until the last seconds of the album. Since I am sure that the music is archetypical (it correlates, is connected with our ancestral consciousness), with great pleasure I note the fact of linking melodic ideas not to the upper layers of folk Russian music, but to deeper, maybe pre-Slavonic, European, Aryan musical layers. It follows that Arisk Priest fulfilled his task here, on a single album.

This is the thing to which, having listened once, you will definitely return. Excelent. Point.
