HOW TO REACH THE VENUE
BY PLANE
Capodichino Airport is very close to the city and is located at the East border of Naples. Domestic and International flights from most of European cities land at Naples Capodichino Airport.
From the airport the easiest way to reach the City Center is to take a taxi or a bus. You will find both just outside the arrival terminal at Naples Airport.
From the Airport to Palazzo Pacanowski, University of Napoli Parthenope
Option 1 - By Bus (ALIBUS) + Metro L1 (€1.50 per single ride),: the bus goes directly to the Central Railway Station in Piazza Garibaldi (also known as Stazione Centrale). From there take the Metro Linea 1 (which is inside Central Railway Station in Piazza Garibaldi) direzione Piscinola/Scampia and get off at Piazza Municipio Station (3rd stop). Then walk for about 600 meters (8 mins) to the University of Napoli Parthenope. The bus leaves from the airport every 30 minutes, from 6.00 a.m. up to midnight
Option 2 - By Bus (ALIBUS) + Metro L6 (€1.50 per single ride),: the bus goes directly to the main harbour “Molo Beverello”(2nd and last stop). From there take the Metro Linea 6 (Municipio) and get off at Chiaia - Monte di Dio (1st stop) and use the exit piazza Santa Maria degli Angeli. Palazzo Pacanowski is at about 450 meters (7 min walking distance)
Option 3 - By Taxi: To reach the University of Napoli Parthenope ask the driver to use the predetermined fare

BY TRAIN
Domestic and International trains reach Central Railway Station in Piazza Garibaldi (Stazione Centrale) that is in the center of the city
From the Central Railway Station to Palazzo Pacanowski, University of Napoli Parthenope
Take the Metro L1 (€1.50 per single ride), from Central Railway Station to Piazza Municipio, and then walk for about 600 meters (8 mins) to University Napoli Parthenope, or use the connection with Metro L6 in Piazza Municipio ) and get off at Chiaia - Monte di Dio (1st stop) and use the exit piazza Santa Maria degli Angeli. Palazzo Pacanowski is at about 450 meters (7 min walking distance)
How to reach the venue from city center:
The conference venue - Palazzo Pacanowski - is located just behind the central Piazza Plebiscito and can be reached in several ways:
by walking up Via Gennaro Serra and then Via Monte di Dio ➡️ Take metro Line 1 and get off at Toledo station, walk to Piazza Plebiscito, then continue along Via Gennaro Serra and Via Monte di Dio, it’s about a 20-minute walk to Palazzo Pacanowski;
or by taking metro Line 6 (€1.50 per single ride), getting off at Chiaia – Monte di Dio station (Piazza Santa Maria degli Angeli): it’s just a 7-minute walk to Palazzo Pacanowski;
or by using the public elevator at Via Chiaia 90 (about 500 meters from the venue, operating from 7:00 am to 9:30 pm, free of charge) ➡️ convenient if you are coming from Via Chiaia area;
or via the lift service at the corner of Via Chiatamone and Via Arcoleo, which is reserved for the participants ➡️ convenient if you are coming from the Riviera di Chiaia area;
or by taking metro Line 1 (€1.50 per single ride) and changing it with Line 6 at Piazza Municipio to get off at Chiaia – Monte di Dio station (Piazza Santa Maria degli Angeli): it’s just a 7-minute walk to Palazzo Pacanowski
or byt taking ANM elevator Monte Echia (€1.50 per single ride) at the corner of Via Chiatamone and Via Santa Lucia. From the viewpoint it’s just a 5-minute walk to Palazzo Pacanowski ➡️ convenient if you are coming from via Caracciolo
