ARISA 2026 – International School & Workshop on Advanced Synthetic Aperture Radar Imaging, Systems, and Applications aims to educate and empower the next generation of scientists and young professionals in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and microwave remote sensing. The two-day school is designed to provide a coherent and in-depth perspective on modern SAR, spanning from electromagnetic modeling and signal formation to advanced imaging techniques and innovative radar system concepts and applications. The program emphasizes the interplay between physical modeling, multidimensional signal processing, and data-driven approaches, highlighting how these complementary elements enable reliable information extraction from complex radar observations.
Following the school, a two-day workshop will foster engagement and interaction among participants. During the workshop, attendees will have the opportunity to present their research activities and discuss emerging challenges and applications in SAR and remote sensing. A Best Presentation Award will be assigned at the conclusion of the workshop.
A limited number of travel grants is available for IEEE Region 8 participants. Selected recipients will be required to give a presentation during the workshop. To be eligible for travel grants, participants must complete early registration by June 24, 2026.
