To investigate the von Mises stress, deformation, and energy characteristics associated with ship plates in the most vulnerable bow portion in order to learn about the structural behavior.
To study the impact of various plate hole configurations, i.e. circular, square, fillet square, and elliptical hole geometries, on the ship bow portion using Finite Element Method.
To identify the most effective ship structural plates with different hole shapes in terms of minimizing structural damage to the bow portion of a ship.
For analysis I used ABAQUS Software.
