Dr. Shafkat Kibria was born in Howapara, Sylhet, Bangladesh, in 1978. He received the B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from East-West University, Dhaka, in 2001 and the M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Umeå University, Umeå, Sweden, in 2005. He recently completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet, Bangladesh, with the degree awarded on 23rd March 2023. Since March 2020, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Leading University, Sylhet, Bangladesh.

Md. Arifuzzaman is a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Leading University, Sylhet, with over four years of teaching and research experience. He received his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Gujarat Technological University, India, and completed his Higher Secondary Certificate at New Govt. Degree College, Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He was awarded the fully-funded ICCR Scholarship by the Government of India. Md. Arifuzzaman is the co-founder and mentor of Gangni Gonit Poribar, a recognized mathematics club, and serves as advisor to Orpheus, the largest music club at Leading University.
