I'm a third-year undergraduate student at Duke University interested in public policy, global health, and environmental science. This site is where I collect research, fieldwork, and professional experience as I build toward a graduate degree in health policy or law.
A bit about me: I've been drawn to the intersection of health and environment as I grew up experiencing the mental and physical effects of Colorado wildfires. I see policy and law as an avenue to help create sustainable solutions to improve health access and outcomes regardless of environmental circumstances.
Currently: I'm the lead of the collaboration between SRT-5 (Student Research Training Cohort 5 in Pamlico County) from the Duke Global Health Institute and the Pamlico County Disaster Recovery Coalition (PCDRC).
I've begun to immerse myself outside of the classroom to apply what I am learning inside the classroom. Learn about my experiences here.
View a collection of work samples and see the deliverables I made for and with key partner organizations during my fieldwork experiences.
Check out my reflections of past fieldwork experiences. Including everything I've learned as a student and researcher, but also as a human being.
