  • 6:30 PM - Seated Dinner

Saturday, October 13

There are many fun and interesting ways to spend Saturday in Portland and the surrounding area. We have made a map of our favorite locations around Portland. We especially love the Japanese and Chinese Gardens, as well as the Hoyt Arboretum in Forest Park. On Saturday night, we hope you enjoy one of Portland's many amazing restaurants. We are going to be hanging out for an open-house style gathering at the Irving Street Kitchen in the Pearl District, and we would love to see you for a drink and a little nosh before or after dinner. We will be there from 5:30 PM–9:30 PM. Please stop by before (or after) dinner.

Sunday, October 14

And then, of course, we are getting married on Sunday afternoon in Miller Hall at the World Forestry Center. Cocktail attire is requested. While we do enjoy your little ones, we respectfully request no children at the wedding. We will put together a list of local babysitters recommended by our friends with kids.

The wedding ceremony will start at 3:00 PM on Sunday, and will be followed by a happy hour with appetizers from 3:45–4:45, dancing (including the hora!) from 4:45–5:30, then dinner (with both gluten-free and vegetarian options), toasts, and cake-cutting. Dancing will resume about 7:00 PM and will go until about 10:00 PM!
