Photographer Arie Eric De Jong has been quite busy the past few months, writing a series of blogs on his passion. He talks about several tips and tricks that he has learned in the many years of being a photographer on these blogs.
Today, Arie Eric De Jong turns his attention to iPhone owners and gives them some tips on iPhone photography.
1. Experiment with the settings and apps.
The in-phone camera app of the iPhone is already something to behold. Combine that with some apps such as Lightroom CC, Snapseed, and the like, and iPhone owners will be surprised with what they can accomplish with their phones. Dabble with the settings and mix and match to produce some out of this world images.
2. Learn how to edit and go crazy.
One of the best things about owning an iPhone and having access to all the apps is the limitless possibilities photographers can experience through post-processing. Arie Eric De Jong mentions that not only is editing useful; it can be wondrously fun.
3. Try all-natural first.
Arie Eric De Jong reminds photographers with iPhones that while having apps and settings are great and all, it will still pale compared to what captures one's eyes originally, which is to see the subject in its natural light.
