About Me

Howdy! I'm Ari Cordero Rojas, a storyboard and pre-visualization artist working in both live-action and animated filmmaking. 

I was born in Manatí and raised in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, and was passionate about storytelling from a very young age. 

In 2025, I got my BFA in Filmmaking from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where I was able to sharpen my skills as a story artist and work on a variety of different departments, such as Animation, Production Design, and Visual Effects. 

Aside from film, I'm inspired by culture, folklore, musicals, tabletop roleplaying games, and audio dramas. Some of my biggest inspirations are Jordan Peele's films, Gravity Falls, The Magnus Archives, and the Spider-Verse films. 

I’m excited to sharpen my skills, grow, and work with fellow artists, and help tell new and diverse stories, from the pages of a script to the silver screen.
