Aria Rose Tornabene
Welcome to my interdisciplinary honors portfolio! This website is a document of meaningful experiences & moments from my time as an undergraduate (Fall 2017 - Spring 2021) at the University of Washington.
Spring 2020: Saddlerock, Wenatchee, WA
Spring 2021: Senioritis in full swing
Spring 2021: Favorite tree in the Quad
I grew up in Wenatchee, WA and have loved the transition of moving from a relatively small town to a big city. In college, I studied neuroscience and biochemistry while taking interdisciplinary coursework and fulfilling prerequisites for graduate school. I've participated in clubs, held jobs, volunteered, solidified post-graduation plans, and begun to build my professional image. I've also fallen in love with living in Seattle, explored countless parks, and begun friendships that I will cherish for the rest of my life.
Winter 2020: Waterfront sunset in Vancouver, BC
My family has been unwavering in their support of my academic & professional ambitions. They made my success possible.
Winter 2019: Golden Gardens park
My UW experience was intense and fast-paced. While I have many accomplishments that I am proud of, I am using this space to hi-light the times that I was able to step back, enjoy the moment, and reflect on what I learned both in and out of the classroom. Most of the photos included in this portfolio were taken over the course of many walks or runs around Seattle. I love to be outdoors and to draw connections between my personal life, professional development, the classroom, and the word around me. I am proud to have graduated and look forward to continuing my education as a physician assistant (PA) in the coming years!
