Teaching Gardens

Teaching gardens are living classrooms where people can learn through observation, cultivation, care, and direct experience. ARHS teaching gardens may explore herbs, pollinator plants, native plants, seasonal cycles, foodways, botanical crafts, plant identification, and environmental stewardship. These spaces help connect books and lessons to real plants while creating opportunities for intergenerational learning and community participation.
