Medical use of Argyreia nervosa


Baby woodrose is a perennial vine. It has large leaves that are heart shaped and white flowers that are trumpet shaped. Originally they were found in Copenhagen. They were later named after argyreia nervosa. Nowadays, they are commonly known as the Hawaiian nervosa and are mostly used to ease hallucinogen effects.

In the ancient times, they were used as a replacement for cannabis. Nowadays, they are used for psychedelic properties. This is due to the presence of an active substance known as LSA. For it to be taken, it has to be ground into fine powder. The powder is then mixed with water and then covered for 12 hours. The liquid is then filled to the coffee filler. The extract is then later drunk.

However, you have to check whatever you have bought. This is because there are two varieties of the baby woodrose. The Hawaiian, which is extra strong and the other one is from Madagascar. With these, the dosage has to vary. For starters, they can have 1-4 seeds; there is also the normal intake that has 4-8 seeds. The maximum includes 13-14 seeds for the frequent users.

The effects are first noticed within the first 15 to 20 minutes. The effects are compared to LSD. They are mostly the visual effects but at times, they get milder. It makes the user be in a dreamlike state. This is caused by the mental emptiness, a combination of how the world clock works connection with other people and understanding.

Some effects of Baby woodrose are compared to alcohol. At times, the users are hurled up in pleasant memories and at times distortion can even occur. It also has some visual effects where the user will have beautiful colored visions with mystical characters. Users need to note that they will often get tired during the trips. They later fall into sound sleep that lasts up to 10 hours depending on the dosage that was taken.

They are basically decorative garden plants and the vines can grow tall up to 30 feet and produces flowers which appear similar to moonflower or morning glory. These vines can become invasive if they are left uncheck but often the baby woodrose is cultivated in most of the tropical gardens. In order to germinate the seeds you need to nick them with a knife on the opposite side and then soak the seeds in a bowl overnight.

There will be some swelling if it is nicked deep enough, nick deeper if there is no swelling and soak it again. The flower pot should be filled with three-quarters of soil and then mixed with vermiculite of generous amount. The soil should drain well otherwise the roots of the plant will rot. Dig the soil about two inches deep and then water them well so that they are moist, allow the seeds to germinate and sprout. The soil should be aerated regularly. After a year transfer it to a larger pot with a fertile soil and water them regularly. They will produce flowers within 2 to 5 years. Another name for baby woodrose is ‘wooly morning glory’ and they are available in tropical areas across the world.
