2023 ANSYS Summer Faculty Fellowship

This comprehensive molecular dynamics (MD) simulation and experimental study investigates the lipid bilayer interaction of delocalized and hydrophobic cations. This work represents a novel and alternative pathway to exploit pigments and dyes used for photographic emulsions as potential photosensitizers for various light therapies.

Dr. Gupta's project is  selected in Practitioners Enhancing Engineering Regionally (PEER) program. She will engage in a 2-year professional development and research experience to support the design and implementation of her engineering-focused project :

"I’M Mechanical Engineering Researcher and Student (IMMERS): A First Year Immersive Hand-on Experience for PEERs at Co-op University".  

2022 NSF CMMI Game Changer Panel Fellow 

Dr. Gupta was selected over a pool of 600 candidates in the 2022 cohort of the National Science Foundation (NSF) Division of Civil, Mechanical, and Manufacturing Innovation’s (CMMI) Game Changer Academies for Advancing Research Innovation (CGCA) program
