Aren Lau is a Brooklyn-based writer studying anthropology and Chinese at Middlebury College as a Posse Scholar in the class of 2027. She co-founded and serves as editor-in-chief of the online magazine Anthro Action, and as a contributing writer for The Middlebury Campus, she published a style column entitled "The Closet Report" alongside other stand-alone articles. She also wrote the business story for local boutique, Middleton Vermont, and has works published in Girls Write Now's Taking Root anthology as well as in the organization's 2024 collaboration with Harper Collins, On the Art of the Craft.
Having started her first novel at age fifteen, Aren aims to publish all of the books displayed in her portfolio - the Mediator series, the Oasis Zero duology, and her stand-alone novel, Exit Styx. She is currently working on the second installment of Oasis Zero and a rewrite of Mediator.
