Anjaneya Reddy is a library and information science professional with over 15 years of experience in academic libraries and research institutions. Currently serving as an Assistant Librarian at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), Mumbai. He holds a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science from Bangalore University, a M.Phil. in Library Science from Annamalai University, and a Master's in Library and Information Science from Bangalore University and qualified for the UGC-NET in 2009. His expertise spans Library administration and management, Python programming, machine learning, metadata harvesting, digital repository management, open access, etc. He is actively involved in academic training and research, co-teaching the "Python for Economists" course at IGIDR and delivering lectures on AI applications in libraries, and data analysis. His contributions have earned him multiple accolades, including the prestigious NISO-Plus Scholarship, the Best Poster Presentation Award at the IASLIC Conference, and recognition as one of the winners in the Sage 2024 Charleston Library Contest. He also participated in the NISO-Plus 2024 Conference in Baltimore, USA, and has been a member of the NISO-Plus Planning Committee at NISO since 2022.
