Area Games will be here before you know it!

Below you will find the registration material for the 2026 Special Olympics Area Games at Bishop McDevitt on April 24.  Please note the changes for the new athlete health status / eligibility process described in a previous email and in the attached material.

Attached you'll find the following

• Detailed instructions for registering your athletes for the event this year

• Letters to you and to parents of athletes that describe the new eligibility / health status process (replaces the old medical form)

• The art contest flyer

• A school point of contact spreadsheet to be filled out and returned.

Important Note::

If you need help with the NEW athlete health status / eligibility registration process, Special Olympics PA is willing to set up registration nights/days with your schools/districts.  They can come to your schools at a time when parents and families can also come in, and will help them get through the NEW  process.  Please contact Jill Stoner jstoner@specialolympicspa.org to set something up.
