Separate three wires from the jumper wire set. Try to keep them intact, but it's OK if you end up with three individual wires. (The color is not important.)
Place the three jumper wires in the soldering holder.
"Tin" the connectors with the soldering iron and a small amount of solder.
Place the RGB LED board in the soldering holder (if you have one.) Orient it with the IN label is on the left.
Apply a small blob of solder to the GND, IN, and VCC pads.
(No need to solder the bottom GND pad.)
Carefully solder the three jumper wires to the RGB board.
It's easier to solder the IN pad first, then GND and VCC.
Connect the RGB board jumper wires to the Arduino board.
(Simply push the pins into the headers (sockets) on the board.
DO NOT SOLDER!
VCC --- 5V +5 volt power
GND --- GND - power connection
DI --- 5 RGB data input
