The Arden Hills Island Beach Club is an association-maintained property, consisting of an 2.58 acre island on Lake Johanna, as well as a 3.94 acre wooded/wetland area.
Amenities on the island include a boat launch, swimming beach, swim raft, baseball backstop, soccer goal, vollyball net, fire pit, picnic tables, barbeque grills and playground equipment.
Members of the Arden Hills Island beach club pay annual membership dues to maintain the property for the enjoyment of all members.
It is the purpose of the Arden Hills Island Beach Club (AHIBC) to provide a recreation area for the members of the designated neighborhood. It has facilities to take advantage of the Lake Johanna setting. It's a safe area for children to meet and work off their energies. It's a park for individuals, families and groups to meet for relaxation and social contact, and to build a sense of community in the neighborhood. It's a grass roots association, the management and maintenance of which is conducted by the cooperative and democratic efforts of the members. It's an attractive feature of the neighborhood which enhances the value of each member's home.
