This is page provides the best view for deliverables. Additionally, there are rationales, progress work and unfinished pieces that are included here.
Rationale
I choose to do something similar to a stock report segment for storytelling, as I needed to convey the context of the world building and the morality themes concisely as well as a more natural way to use exposition. That being said, stock reports aren’t that entertaining and this project was so grim already so I took a few notes from the Mad Money show and overused sound effects as well as well as represent outrage reporting.

Rationale
Arc’s website needed to remain light and happy to reflect its original mission of resurrecting species. This element was important to include in its more profit driven update, as to imply there was no change. It was a difficult choice how to represent animals on this website, such as choosing between more cartoon representation or photos- I eventually settled on photos with digital effects to exaggerate the theme of digitalization.

Rationale
While world building, I endeavored to make a logo that emulates the visual language/trend of present day organizations using a linguistically soft sounding name contrasted with an ambiguous but yet always sharp logo.

Rationale
Prompted to try to execute a physical deliverable, I wanted to see if there was a way if I could recreate a DNA barcode, particularly capturing their holographic nature. The closest material I found was some old DVDs- so I cut them into strips and arranged them in a pattern similar to the barcode. I played with the idea of creating a futuristic solar panel that also functioned as billboard advertisement for ARC but deciding that thematically it was a stretch. What I went with was more relevant to NFT culture anyways, as in-world this photo was an ARC “leaking” an elusive content/trophy for DNA sequence owners who managed to keep/not resurrect their “tokens” for a year.
Process work
Rationale
Originally for the world building section I wanted to showcase two accounts of history, which would demonstrate how a difference in values and writing styles creates two distinct realities, in which the audience would have to decipher what really happened- Unfortunately time became a concern so the “creative writing version” remains unfinished- but it felt off to me to completely leave it out, hence this draft.
Rationale
For the required storytelling summary, I thought that an online think piece would be an efficient story delivery method as it could show all the deliverables in one space, summarize the history and world, all the while showcasing how society often reconsiders movements of progress when confronted with uncomfortable obstacles that would require societal systems changing.
