Every player is different. Some come to a lesson knowing exactly what they want to work on. Others know something is going wrong but are not sure where the problem starts.
Both are good places to begin.
Private lessons are built around your game, your goals, and the way you learn best. We might spend a session developing a specific shot, solving a recurring problem, improving movement and positioning, or using live play to uncover patterns that are difficult to see while you are in the middle of a game.
The goal is not simply to give you more drills. It is to help you understand what is happening, why it is happening, and what to do next.
My coaching follows a simple progression:
Sometimes mechanics really are the problem. But often the mistake started earlier—with what a player saw, where they moved, or the decision they made.
That is why private lessons may include focused drilling, movement work, ball-machine repetitions, coach-fed balls, constraints designed to isolate one part of a movement, or live play. The method depends on what will help the player learn.
Private lessons can be used to:
develop a specific shot or skill;
diagnose a problem that keeps showing up in games;
improve footwork, spacing, and body positioning;
work through transition-zone decisions;
understand shot selection and point construction;
prepare for a tournament or competitive event;
build a longer-term improvement plan.
Private instruction is available for individuals and small groups of up to four players.
An individual lesson provides the most personalized attention and repetition. Lessons with two to four players allow us to work on partner movement, patterns, decision-making, and game situations while still providing individual coaching and feedback.
Individual — $85/ hour
Two Players — $50/ person
Three Players — $40/ person
Four Players — $ 30/ person
