Description: Many students, especially new/incoming boarding school students, may want to explore public speaking and speech & debate but may be intimidated or do not know how to get started. The Speech and Debate workshops aim to help students gain a better sense of what more competitive speaking is like, especially in speech tournaments in competitive US league settings. Participants will learn to build their confidence and essential public and competitive speaking skills before returning to their boarding schools and immersing themselves in respective debate and speech teams!
