Neelakarshana is a growing force of people coming together. It’s about coming together, discussing problems and solutions, and bridging gaps.
The Problem
Across India, countless individuals and organisations are working tirelessly with marginalised communities, from sanitation workers to trans persons. However, we’re often working in silos, unaware of others who share the same values and goals.
When we work in isolation, we often see :
Short-term programmes with limited impact
Missed opportunities for collaboration and shared learning
Our response: a collective change!
Neelakarshana is a growing community, bringing together practitioners, researchers, facilitators, and funders who are driving systemic change. We focus on deep structural issues, including caste, gender, sexuality, labour, housing, etc., grounding our work in the realities of marginalised communities.
