Asini Kaskahikan
Asini Kaskahikan
A asini kaskahikan or biface is a lithic (stone) tool that has been sharpened by chipping on two sides and is used to cut or chop. Examples of this could be a knife or an axe. The size of the biface varied depending on what the person needed it for. This tool was used by both men and women in any season. Men would use a biface axe to cut down trees. Women would use a biface knife to skin meat from the hide.
