Terms of Use – ArCaif Photo Editor
By downloading, installing, or using ArCaif Photo Editor (“App”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not download or use the App.
2. Description of the App
ArCaif Photo Editor allows users to:
- Edit and enhance photos on their device.
- Apply filters, eraser, and effects.
- Export photos locally or optionally share online.
The App works mostly offline. Network access is required only for:
- Dynamic Feature Module (DFM) downloads.
- In-app purchases and subscriptions.
- Optional sharing/exporting of edited photos.
3. User Accounts & Age Restrictions
No account creation is required to use basic features.
The App is family-friendly and suitable for all ages.
Users under 13 should use the App under parental guidance.
4. Permissions
The App may request the following permissions:
Permission
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Purpose:
Access and manage photos selected by the user for browsing and editing images. This is a core feature of the app.
INTERNET
Purpose:
Download Dynamic Feature Modules (DFM) and required online resources, and support online features.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
Purpose:
Check internet connectivity for online features, downloads, and in-app services.
com.android.vending.BILLING
Purpose:
Process in-app purchases and subscriptions securely through Google Play Billing.
WAKE_LOCK
Purpose:
Keep certain app processes active when required for functionality.
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Purpose:
Save edited images back to the user's device.
All permissions are used responsibly and only for the purposes described above.
5. In-App Purchases (IAP) & Subscriptions
The App offers the following subscription plans:
1 Month Pro
1 Year Pro
Lifetime Pro
Payments are processed securely via Google Play Billing.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled by the user.
Refunds are subject to Google Play policies.
6. User Content & Responsibility
Users are responsible for photos they edit, share, or store using the App.
The App does not upload photos automatically.
You agree not to use the App to upload or share content that is illegal, offensive, or violates copyright.
Users may copy their prompts and use them in external AI services such as Gemini. The app does not transmit, store, or share any user prompts. Any use of prompts in external services is done solely by the user.
All App content, features, logos, and designs are property of ArCaif Photo Editor or its licensors.
OpenCV library (Apache 2.0 License) is used for offline image processing only.
You may not copy, distribute, or sell App content without permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
The App is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.
We are not liable for any data loss, device damage, or other losses arising from use of the App.
Users should back up photos before editing.
10. Updates & Modifications
The App may be updated to improve functionality, add features, or fix bugs.
Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
