Special Events & Fundraising

Members of the special events committee provide leadership for the entire event planning process for the Club. Committee members will orchestrate the overall production of Club events, will provide suggestions and advice as needed, and be prepared to take advice and direction from the executive board.

Specific Role Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversees the entire event and planning process

• Attend ongoing committee meetings

• Encourage creativity and the development of new and exciting ideas

• Delegate tasks and encourage volunteers at special events

• Develop leaders from within the committee for specific events

• Maintain communication among other committee members

• Works closely with the Fundraising Committee

The major responsibility of the members of the fund raising committee is to raise money needed to meet the needs of the Club. 

Specific Role Duties and Responsibilities

• Works cooperatively with the board president and treasurer in accounting for receipts and disbursements for the activity. 

• May also plan specific fundraising events and activities.

All plans must be approved in advance by the executive board.
