Membership & Web Function
Membership Overview
The members of the membership committee monitor all aspects of Club membership, including invitations and retention. Bringing new members in, the membership committee ensures that the member experience meets everyone’s expectations. That’s no small job. You are up for the task!
Specific Role Duties and Responsibilities
Develops new member prospect lists and recruitment opportunities.
Works closely with the board president and secretary to plan membership drives and special club meetings for prospective members.
Sets membership goals with input from the Club’s board of directors.
Web Function Overview
The major responsibility of the members of the web function committee is to ensure the Antioch Recovery Club organization website, Zoom Virtual Meeting spaces and social media accounts meet the needs of the members and guests of the Club.
Specific Role Duties and Responsibilities
This committee works cooperatively with the board president and secretary in hosting virtual meetings.
The committee may also plan specific virtual events and activities such as virtual speaker meetings and other marketing campaigns.
All plans must be approved in advance by the executive board.
Special Events & Fundraising
Special Events Overview
Members of the special events committee provide leadership for the entire event planning process for the Club. Committee members will orchestrate the overall production of Club events, will provide suggestions and advice as needed, and be prepared to take advice and direction from the executive board.
Specific Role Duties and Responsibilities
Oversees the entire event and planning process
Attend ongoing committee meetings
Encourage creativity and the development of new and exciting ideas
Delegate tasks and encourage volunteers at special events
Develop leaders from within the committee for specific events
Maintain communication among other committee members
Works closely with the Fundraising Committee
Fundraising Overview
The major responsibility of the members of the fund raising committee is to raise money needed to meet the needs of the Club.
Specific Role Duties and Responsibilities
Works cooperatively with the board president and treasurer in accounting for receipts and disbursements for the activity.
May also plan specific fundraising events and activities.
All plans must be approved in advance by the executive board.

Community Outreach
As an outreach committee member you are responsible for establishing relationships and partnerships with individuals, organizations and others within our community to evaluate how the Club may better serve the community as a whole.
Specific Role Duties and Responsibilities
The outreach committee monitors and examines existing programs and facilitates discussions about new programs and program priorities.
Maintenance & Technical
The members of the maintenance committee is to help facilitate the proper functionality of multiple systems and utilities within the Club. Through the exchange of maintenance information from those involved, it is the goal of this committee to:
Specific Role Duties and Responsibilities
Make recommendations to the executive board for consideration when equipment standards relating to maintenance and equipment performance are in need of review.
Review proposed regulations, industry standards, and manufacturer’s recommendations as they affect maintenance and maintenance practices.
Plan, organize and assist with developing the overall safety of the Club premises.
Provide information and share knowledge with the executive board regarding maintenance related questions.
