Arafat Aziz (born December 22, 1984)] is a Bangladeshi investor, businessman and the Chairman and CEO of Aziz Holdings.
Arafat was born in Cumilla, Bangladesh. He developed an interest in business and investing in his youth, eventually entering the West Bengal University of Technology, India in 2001 before transferring to and completing MBA from the North South University. He went on to Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, where he molded his investment philosophy around the concept of value investing pioneered by Benjamin Graham and Warren Buffet.
Arafat Aziz has been the chairman and largest shareholder of Aziz Holdings, the holding company having diversified business in Equity Investment, Real Estate, Health Sector, Consultancy & Social Welfare. He is noted for his adherence to value investing, and his personal frugality.
Arafat Aziz is a highly-driven, result-oriented professional with 16 years of experience in national & international joint venture company, with extensive experience in effectively generating new businesses as well as assessing individual customer’s needs, meeting business expectations and maintaining new and existing businesses in a professional and efficient manner.
