This Privacy Policy describes how Ardent Script ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Urdu Vocabulary mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about our data practices.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use the App.
Firebase Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics, an analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how users interact with our App and to improve the user experience. Firebase automatically collects user properties such as app version, device model, operating system version, and usage patterns. The following information is collected:
Automatically Collected Data:
Device information (manufacturer, model, screen resolution)
Operating system version and type (Android)
App version and build number
Language and region settings
General location (country-level, derived from IP address)
App usage events (e.g., app opens, screen views, feature usage)
Session duration and frequency
User engagement metrics
Technical performance data
Device Identifiers:
Firebase SDK collects identifiers for mobile devices, including Android Advertising ID
App Instance ID (a unique identifier for each app installation)
User Interaction Events:
Events provide insight on what is happening in your app, such as user actions, system events, or errors
Screen views and navigation patterns
Feature usage (e.g., which vocabulary categories are accessed)
Button clicks and in-app interactions
Quiz completions and learning progress patterns (aggregated, not individual word choices)
Important: Analytics data is used to understand user behavior patterns and improve the app. While device identifiers are collected, they are used solely for analytics purposes and are not linked to your personal identity. We do not collect the specific vocabulary words you study or your quiz answers.
Firebase Crashlytics
To improve the stability and performance of the App, we use Firebase Crashlytics, a crash reporting service provided by Google LLC. When the App crashes or encounters errors, Crashlytics automatically collects the following technical information:
Device manufacturer and model
Operating system version and type (Android)
App version number
Timestamp of the crash
Stack traces and technical logs
Device state information at the time of the crash (e.g., memory usage, device orientation, battery level)
Crashlytics Installation UUID (a unique identifier for crash reporting)
Important: This crash data is anonymized and does not include any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, or any content you create within the App.
We do not collect, store, or transmit:
Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
Specific vocabulary words you study or look up
Your quiz answers or test results (we collect aggregate patterns only)
Precise location data (GPS coordinates)
Contact lists
Photos, videos, or media files
Financial or payment information
Login credentials or account information
Browsing history outside the app
Notification interaction data or patterns
Audio or voice data
The Firebase SDK collects the Android Advertising ID for analytics purposes. However, ArabicSkool does not use the Advertising ID for ad targeting or user profiling. The identifier is used only for:
Analytics and app performance measurement
Understanding user demographics in aggregate
Distinguishing unique users in statistical reports
We do not serve advertisements in the App, and we do not share the Advertising ID with third-party advertising networks.
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
Understanding Usage Patterns: To see which features are most popular and which need improvement
App Performance Optimization: To identify and fix bugs, crashes, and technical issues
User Experience Enhancement: To make the app more intuitive and effective for vocabulary learning
Feature Development: To prioritize new features based on user needs
Quality Assurance: To monitor app stability across different devices and OS versions
Aggregate user demographics (age groups, countries, device types)
Overall engagement metrics (daily active users, session lengths)
Feature adoption rates
Learning pattern trends (which categories are most studied)
We do not use this data for:
Selling or sharing with third-party advertisers
Building individual user profiles for marketing
Targeting you with advertisements
Tracking your activity across other apps or websites
Identifying you personally
Sharing your specific learning progress with anyone
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
We share analytics and crash data with the following service provider:
