Privacy Policy
Effective date: 12 September 2026
AR Applications ("we", "our", or "us") provides KeepSure ("KeepSure" or the "App").
KeepSure is a household asset, warranty, document, reminder, and repair-history organizer designed to help users keep important information about appliances, electronics, devices, vehicles, and other household items in one place.
This Privacy Policy explains what information KeepSure handles, how that information is used, where it is stored, and the choices available to you.
KeepSure is designed around a local-first and data-minimization approach.
1. Information you add to KeepSure
KeepSure allows you to voluntarily create records about products and other items you own or manage.
Depending on how you use the App, information you enter may include:
Item or product name
Product category
Brand
Model number
Serial number or product code
Purchase date
Warranty expiry date
Purchase price
Purchase source
Invoice or order number
User-created location labels such as "My Home" or "Parents' Home"
Responsible-person labels
Notes
Repair and service history
Diagnosis and work performed
Parts replaced
Labour and parts costs
Technician or repair-business information
Repair-warranty dates
Reminders
Household-member names or labels
Household roles
Documents you choose to attach
You decide what information to add.
KeepSure does not require you to provide every available field.
2. Local-first storage
The current version of KeepSure is primarily a local-device application.
Your household asset records, warranty information, repair history, reminders, household-member information, and other user-created records are stored within the App's storage on your Android device.
The current closed-testing version does not provide:
KeepSure user accounts
Cloud synchronization of your household vault
Automatic online backup of your asset records
Firebase Storage uploads of your documents
Server-based family synchronization
Android cloud backup for KeepSure's application data is disabled in the current build.
Future versions may introduce optional encrypted backup or household synchronization. If this occurs, this Privacy Policy will be updated before such functionality is released.
3. Documents, receipts, and warranty files
KeepSure allows you to add documents such as:
Purchase invoices
Warranty documents
Service receipts
Repair bills
AMC documents
Product photographs or scanned records
Documents that you choose to save inside KeepSure are stored in App-controlled local storage.
KeepSure encrypts stored document content using cryptographic keys protected by the Android Keystore.
When a protected document needs to be displayed or shared, KeepSure may temporarily create a decrypted local copy inside the App's private cache. The App is designed to clear temporary preview files when they are no longer required or during subsequent App operation.
KeepSure does not intentionally transmit the contents of your receipts, warranties, invoices, or other attached documents to Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics.
4. Serial numbers and sensitive product identifiers
Product serial numbers entered into KeepSure are protected using Android Keystore-backed encryption before being stored by the App.
Serial numbers are not intentionally included in KeepSure's custom Analytics or Crashlytics events.
When information is displayed or shared, KeepSure may mask sensitive identifiers where appropriate.
5. Document and product scanning
KeepSure may allow you to scan:
Product labels
Barcodes
QR codes
Receipts
Invoices
Warranty documents
Scanning features use Google ML Kit and Google Play services components.
Scanning occurs only when you deliberately choose a scanning feature.
KeepSure does not continuously access your camera in the background.
Information extracted from a scan may include product names, brands, model numbers, serial numbers, dates, invoice information, or other text contained in the document.
Extracted information should be reviewed by you before relying on it because automated text recognition may occasionally be inaccurate.
KeepSure does not intentionally send the text extracted from your scanned documents to Firebase Analytics.
6. Files selected from your device
When you choose to attach an existing file, KeepSure may use Android's system file picker.
KeepSure receives access only to the file or document you choose.
KeepSure does not request unrestricted access to all files stored on your device for this purpose.
7. Firebase Analytics
KeepSure uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how users interact with the App and to identify opportunities to improve usability and functionality.
In the current closed-testing version, usage Analytics may be enabled by default.
You can disable usage Analytics at any time from:
Profile & Settings → Usage analytics & crash reports
When Analytics is enabled, KeepSure may record events such as:
App started
Onboarding completed
Screen viewed
Add-item process started
Item added
Item edited
Custom category created
Document scanning started
Document added
Reminder created
Reminder completed
Repair record created
Sharing feature used
Appearance setting changed
Comfort View enabled or disabled
Other similar feature-interaction events
These events help us understand which features work well and where the App can be improved.
8. Information Firebase Analytics may process
When Analytics is enabled, Google Analytics for Firebase may process technical or usage information such as:
App interactions
Screen usage
Session information
App version
Operating-system information
Device type and technical characteristics
App-instance or installation identifiers
General application lifecycle information
Approximate geographic information that may be derived by Google from network information such as IP address
KeepSure's custom Analytics events are intentionally designed not to include user-entered household content.
We do not intentionally send the following through our custom Firebase Analytics events:
Product names entered by you
Brand or model text
Serial numbers
Invoice numbers
Purchase prices
Document filenames
Document contents
OCR or scanned-document text
Home addresses
Location labels entered by you
Notes
Repair descriptions
Technician names
Household-member names
Payment information
Firebase Analytics information should not be treated as completely anonymous because services such as Firebase may use app-instance or installation identifiers.
9. Firebase Crashlytics
KeepSure uses Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes, application errors, and Application Not Responding ("ANR") events.
Crashlytics may process technical diagnostic information such as:
Crash stack traces
Error information
App version
Device model
Android version
Application state associated with a crash
Installation identifiers
Technical diagnostic information
KeepSure does not assign your name, email address, or KeepSure account identity to Crashlytics because the current version does not require a KeepSure account.
We also intentionally avoid adding household information, asset details, serial numbers, invoice contents, notes, or similar user-entered information to our custom Crashlytics data.
Crash reporting can be disabled together with Analytics from:
Profile & Settings → Usage analytics & crash reports
Disabling this setting stops new KeepSure Analytics and Crashlytics collection after the setting is applied.
Information already processed by Google may remain subject to Google's applicable retention practices.
10. Advertising
The current version of KeepSure:
Does not contain advertisements
Does not integrate Google AdMob
Does not use Analytics information for personalized advertising
Does not sell household information to advertisers
Does not display paid repair-provider rankings
If advertising is introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy and the relevant Google Play disclosures will be updated before that functionality is released.
11. Accounts and login information
The current version of KeepSure does not require a KeepSure account.
We therefore do not currently require you to provide:
Name for account registration
Email address for account registration
Phone number for account registration
Password
Social-media account
Google account credentials
Bank account credentials
Household-member names or labels that you voluntarily add to your local vault are different from account-registration information and currently remain on your device.
12. Device permissions
KeepSure is designed to request only permissions required for a feature you choose to use.
The current App may use:
Internet access
Used primarily for services such as Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and external support links.
Network-state information
Used to determine network availability when required by network-dependent functionality.
Notifications
KeepSure may request notification permission so it can show warranty, maintenance, repair, and other reminders.
You can decline or disable notifications through Android Settings.
Scanning
Camera-based scanning functionality is activated only when you choose to scan a document, receipt, label, barcode, or QR code.
KeepSure does not require access to:
Contacts
SMS messages
Call logs
Precise background location
Microphone
Browsing history
Clipboard history
Bank credentials
PAN
Aadhaar
for normal App functionality.
13. Reminders and notifications
KeepSure may process locally stored dates and reminder information to notify you about events such as:
Warranty expiry
Maintenance
Service dates
Repair-warranty expiry
User-created reminders
Reminder processing is performed using Android background scheduling functionality.
Notification content may appear on your device's lock screen depending on your Android notification settings.
You can manage notification visibility and permissions through your device settings.
14. Household information
KeepSure allows you to create household members, roles, locations, and responsibility labels.
For example, you might create labels such as:
My Home
Parents' Home
Office
Me
Parent
Spouse
These are user-created records.
The current version does not automatically access your phone's contact list to create household members.
Current household information is stored locally on your device.
15. Sharing information
KeepSure uses Android's system sharing functionality when you deliberately choose to share information.
This allows you to select an application such as:
WhatsApp
Email
Messages
Another compatible application
KeepSure does not automatically send information to your contacts.
Where available, KeepSure's sharing functionality is designed to limit or redact sensitive information from generated summaries.
Information may be processed by the third-party application you choose after you share it.
For example, information shared through WhatsApp becomes subject to WhatsApp's own privacy practices.
AR Applications does not control how an external application processes information after you intentionally share it.
16. Official support links and external websites
KeepSure may provide links to manufacturer websites, official support resources, or other external services.
Opening an external website may cause that website or application to process information under its own privacy policy.
KeepSure does not control the privacy practices of external websites.
17. Personal and financial information
KeepSure does not currently require users to provide:
Bank-account access
Credit-card credentials
UPI PINs
Banking passwords
PAN
Aadhaar
Income
Savings
Credit information
Purchase prices or repair costs that you voluntarily record are stored as part of your local household records and are not intentionally included in our custom Firebase Analytics events.
18. Sale of information
AR Applications does not sell your personal information.
We also do not sell:
Household asset information
Warranty information
Repair records
Serial numbers
Documents
Purchase histories
Financial information
to advertisers, data brokers, repair businesses, or other companies.
19. Data retention
Information stored locally by KeepSure generally remains on your device until you:
Delete an individual record
Delete an item
Delete the local KeepSure vault
Clear the App's storage through Android Settings
Uninstall KeepSure
Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics information may be retained separately by Google according to Firebase configuration, applicable retention settings, and Google's policies.
20. Deleting your information
The current version provides a local-vault deletion option through:
Profile & Settings → Delete local vault
You can also clear KeepSure's application data through Android Settings or uninstall the App.
Deleting or uninstalling KeepSure may permanently remove locally stored:
Assets
Warranty details
Documents
Repair history
Reminders
Household information
Preferences
Because the current version does not provide cloud backup, this information may not be recoverable after deletion.
Previously transmitted Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics information may not be deleted merely by uninstalling the App and may remain according to Google's applicable retention practices.
21. Data security
KeepSure uses technical measures intended to protect information stored by the App.
These measures currently include:
Android application sandboxing
Android Keystore-backed cryptographic keys
Encryption of locally stored document contents
Encryption of serial-number values
HTTPS-only network configuration
Android backup disabled for KeepSure data
Restricted file-sharing mechanisms
No embedded user passwords
Data-minimizing Analytics events
However, no mobile application, electronic-storage system, or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users should also protect their device using appropriate Android security features such as a PIN, password, fingerprint, or other device lock.
22. Third-party services
The current version of KeepSure may use services provided by Google, including:
Google Analytics for Firebase
Firebase Crashlytics
Google ML Kit
Google Play services
Google Play
These services may process technical information necessary to provide their functionality according to Google's applicable terms and privacy policies.
KeepSure may also allow you to open third-party manufacturer support websites or share information using applications that you choose.
23. Children's privacy
KeepSure is a household-management utility intended primarily for adults managing household products, warranties, documents, and repairs.
KeepSure is not specifically directed at children.
The current version does not provide:
Public user profiles
Public chat
Social networking
Public user-generated content
Behavioural advertising
Personalized advertising
Public location sharing
Parents or guardians with questions about KeepSure may contact us using the information below.
24. International processing
Firebase and other Google services may process technical information using infrastructure located outside your country.
Where third-party services process information, their handling of that information is governed by their applicable terms, privacy policies, and legal obligations.
Your household vault itself is not currently uploaded by KeepSure to AR Applications' servers.
25. Your privacy choices
Depending on the functionality available in your version of KeepSure, you may:
Enable or disable usage Analytics and crash reporting
Enable or disable Android notifications
Edit asset information
Delete individual assets
Delete attached documents
Delete repair records where supported
Manage household information
Choose whether to share information externally
Delete the local KeepSure vault
Clear App data
Uninstall KeepSure
26. Future features
KeepSure may evolve over time.
Future versions may introduce features such as:
Optional encrypted cloud backup

Family synchronization
Secure family invitations
Product manuals
AI-assisted product guidance
Vehicle functionality
Device diagnostics
Government or manufacturer integrations
