Starting point:

Begin your journey at the quay, in the Roman city of Aquilonia.

1. Start at the Quay of Aquilonia. Face inland and walk through the main city gates.
   
   

2. Walk straight east until you see a group of chicks pecking at corn seeds on the ground. When you reach them, turn right.
   
   

3. Go up five stone steps, and walk straight into the Ripam Romam building.
   
   

4. Inside, you’ll see a fresh-water pool and two golden statues. Walk around the pool and statues, then leave the building through the opposite doorway.
   
   

5. Once outside, turn left (a 90° turn).
   
   

6. Walk forward. You’ll pass straw bales and farm tools (a pitchfork and rake) on your right.
   
   

7. Keep going straight. You’ll see two Roman guards talking — go past them.
   
   

8. Keep walking and pass three hens hidden in the bushes.
   
   

9. Go up six stone steps.
   
   

10. At the top, you’ll see a statue built into the wall — a man’s face with the words “Mouth of Truth” below. Turn right here.
    
    

11. Take two small steps to your left, then turn right again.
    
    

12. On your left will be the hospitium (guest house). Walk past it — do not enter.
    
    

13. Continue forward under the brick arches, but do not go through the gates ahead. Instead, turn left here.
    
    

14. You’ll see a tower door beside a faded circus poster on the wall. There’s a guard standing near the door.
    
    

15. Enter the tower through this door.
    
    

16. Check behind the door — that’s where you’ll find your Golden Axe trophy!
