Vampires are the subrace of choice for mages and sometimes beastmasters due to their stat increases. They also have the ability to Control monsters, causing them to damage themselves during their turn rather than attacking.
- +50 Int and Cha toggles help provide stats for mages and beastmasters as well as boosting their Mesmerize skill.
- Vampire's Mesmerize is often considered the best status infliction included in subrace armors for skipping enemy turns. As a bonus it can be used twice each turn!
- The Vampire level 10 transformation multiplies damage by 7/8 in exchange for healing the player, the cost is also split between sp and mp.
