Air Quality Monitor with Arduino IoT

Workshop overview

With the ongoing threat of wildfires, we are all concerned about air quality and effect on health.
In this workshop, we'll modify an IKEA particulate (PM 2.5) air quality sensor by adding a small micro-controller with WiFi, install an Arduino program to read the air quality data and send it to a web site using IoT (Internet of Things) technology.
We'll also setup email alerts to let us know when the air quality is not healthy and advise to take corrective actions.
