PREAMBLE

Whereas the Initiators are desirous of forming ASSOCIATION OF PRE-PRIMARY PRINCIPALS AND TEACHERS TRAINING INSTITUTIONS (APTI) UGANDA LIMITED in to an organization, hereinafter referred to as the organization, with the purpose of being an umbrella body for principals and teachers/tutors of pre-primary teacher-training institutions of Uganda working towards improving and modernization and building capacity of Preprimary Training Schools Principals and Teachers in Uganda. This has been as a result of the realization that there is a gap in the Collaboration between the Ministry of Education and other relevant government ministries, institutes, private sector, civil society, development partners, academia, NGOs, and other stakeholders and the ECD and pre-primary teacher institutions. This and many other situations have often led to complications and incapacitation to allow which hinders the development of these institutions.

Thus hereby upon registration and approval by the office of the Registrar General of the Republic of Uganda, ASSOCIATION OF PRE-PRIMARY PRINCIPALS AND TEACHERS TRAINING INSTITUTIONS (APTI) UGANDA LIMITED as an organization promulgate that they will foster the realization of the aims and objectives of the organization meet the emerging needs of Preprimary Teachers Training Institutions in Uganda in such a state as detailed in this constitution
