SplitClip is a video utility app that allows users to select videos from their device, preview videos, split videos, trim videos, export video clips, save exported clips, view exported clips, rename exported clips, delete exported clips, and share exported clips.

SplitClip does not require users to create an account.
We do not directly collect personal information such as your name, phone number, address, username, or password during normal app use.
However, the app may access, store, or process certain information depending on how you use the app, the permissions you allow, and the services enabled in the app.
SplitClip allows users to select video files from their device.
Selected videos are used only for app features such as:
Displaying video folders and video files
Previewing selected videos
Creating video thumbnails and timeline previews
Splitting or trimming videos
Exporting video clips
Saving exported clips to the device or gallery
Showing exported clips in the Output screen
Renaming or deleting exported clips
Sharing exported clips through other apps selected by the user
Video files are processed locally on your device.
SplitClip does not upload your selected videos to our own server as part of the normal video splitting, trimming, previewing, or exporting process.
When you choose to share an exported clip, the selected file is shared using your device’s standard sharing options. The receiving app or service is responsible for how it handles the shared file.
SplitClip may request permissions depending on your Android version and the features you use.
The app may request access to videos or media files on your device so that you can select, preview, split, trim, and export videos.
This may include permissions such as:
Read video or media files
Read external storage on older Android versions
Write to external storage on older Android versions
These permissions are used only to provide the main video selection, editing, and export features of the app.
The app may request notification permission to show export progress or export completion notifications.

Exported clips remain on your device unless you delete them, share them, clear app data, or uninstall the app.

Support or bug report emails may be retained as long as necessary to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, and maintain support records.

SplitClip is a general-audience utility and is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13.
