The information collected is used solely for the following purposes:

• To provide and improve the app's features and performance.

3. Local Data Storage & iCloud Backup

All your personal financial data, including expense and income logs and budget information, is primarily stored locally on your device. However, if you have enabled iCloud, your data may also be backed up to your iCloud account to ensure it can be restored in case of data loss or when switching devices.

• iCloud Backup: When iCloud is enabled, your transaction data is securely backed up to your iCloud account. This data is managed under Apple's Privacy Policy, and we do not have access to any of your iCloud-stored data.

• Local Storage: Data stored locally on your device is not transmitted to our servers or shared with third parties. If you choose to delete the app, all locally stored data will be deleted from your device. However, if iCloud backup is enabled, data may remain in your iCloud account unless manually deleted.

You can manage or disable iCloud backup via your device settings.

We take reasonable measures to safeguard your data from unauthorized access or disclosure. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Expensely does not use any third-party services for tracking or analytics that may collect your personal data.

• Local Storage: Since your data is stored locally, you have full control over your personal information. You can delete the app and all data associated with it at any time.

• App Permissions: Expensely may request access to certain device features (e.g., notifications), but you can choose to grant or deny these permissions.
