BLACS 15 Notes

1. Numbers were down but we welcomed new member Peter K who brought along a meaty problem that took up most of the session.
2. Peter K has a Fitbit Versa which was working until a few days before. We tried to help him reconnect but eventually had to admit defeat despite several of us trying and failing to persuade his Android phone to play ball. We employed tried and true support personnel methods like rebooting the phone, rebooting the Fitbit, trying different models in the Fitbit app all to no avail. much to our frustration.
3. Gary showed us his excellent Telstra Mobile Broadband modem which is a Netgear Nighthawk M1 router (see below). In the cafe he was getting 100 Mbps up to 300 Mbps depending how near the windows he stood. Gary has used it for a year or two and reports he is very pleased with it.
