Unlike traditional platforms, our operational blueprint is built around data minimization. We do not sell your data, we do not track you across the web, and we do not serve advertisements.
1. The Ephemeral Sandbox Guarantee (Zero Persistence)
The core infrastructure of AppsOnline utilizes containerized Docker and Kasm Workspaces technology.
Session Destruction: Every virtual desktop or application session runs inside a temporary, isolated sandbox.
Data Erasure: The moment you close your browser tab or your session times out, the container is completely destroyed. Any data, files, browsing history, or configurations handled within that sandbox are permanently deleted from our servers and cannot be recovered.
2. Information We Collect
Because we offer an ad-free service that does not require standard public account registration, we minimize data collection to only what is necessary to maintain security and keep the platform running smoothly:
Authentication Data (Administrative/Developer Tiers): For secured access areas utilizing Cloudflare Access or GitHub OAuth, the system processes your verified email identity and authentication tokens solely to validate your permissions.
Technical Logs: Our edge routing systems (including Nginx/Apache proxies and Cloudflare Tunnels) temporarily process technical metadata required to establish your video stream. This includes your IP address, browser type, and connection timestamp. These logs are used exclusively for security monitoring, preventing resource abuse, and diagnosing infrastructure errors (like 500 Server Errors).
3. Cookies and Web Storage
No Tracking Cookies: AppsOnline does not use third-party marketing, analytics, or behavioral tracking cookies.
Functional Storage: We may use localized, essential browser cookies or session storage parameters purely to keep your active streaming session connected and to remember basic layout/canvas scaling adjustments while your tab remains open.
4. Third-Party Infrastructure Providers
AppsOnline relies on trusted open-source and cloud infrastructure providers to securely deliver our streaming environment. These services process data strictly according to their own privacy frameworks:
DigitalPlat Domains (.dpdns.org): Provides our public routing domain registry under an open-source, non-profit framework.
Cloudflare: Manages our edge proxy security, DDoS mitigation, and Cloudflare Access verification.
Amazon Web Services (AWS): Hosts the underlying compute nodes and virtualization infrastructure.
5. Security and Insider Threat Protection
We implement strict operational security controls to protect the integrity of our hosting environment. This includes continuous monitoring of system access logs to detect unauthorized exploitation attempts, sandbox breakout vectors, or brute-force activities. We reserve the right to block malicious IP networks or revoke third-party OAuth access tokens instantly to safeguard our network.
6. Children's Privacy
AppsOnline provides an open environment for educational development and software testing. We do not knowingly target or collect personal information from children. If an administrative account is created using a third-party identity, it must comply with the age requirements enforced by that provider (e.g., GitHub).
