The aim of the trainings is to train the workers in municipal institutions on different aspects of separate waste collection. The lectures cover such themes as need for waste separation, who waste separation is necessary, how it can be organised, different methods as wel as focus at the practical issues of using the new underground containers, their differences compared to the on-the-ground containers, rules and regulations of using underground containers etc. 

International training and Local trainings for employees of municipal institutions (EST, Kohtla-Järve)

PLANS

(International training with 40 participants and Local trainings with 50 participants)

There will be at least 4 local training sessions. Altogether  90 municipal workers will participate in the trainings. The trainings will take place at different institutions where new underground containers will be installed. A training session lasts for four hours. The trainings will be delivered by a professional external expert.

REALISATION

The international training seminar was organized and held  on October 27, 2021. 

Total number of participants - 56. Teachers of schools and kindergartens from Slantsy, Pskov and Kohtla-Järve took part in the online seminar. Teachers shared their experience in teaching topics related to  environmental protection and  waste sorting. The seminar was also attended by environmental specialists from Russia and Estonia. The topic of museum education was also mentioned. An online presentation of a new mobile innovative educational and exhibition museum-complex ProMusor, located in St. Petersburg, was presented well.

The Local trainings for employees of Kohtla-Järve Towns' municipal institutions  was organized and held in January 2022. Total number of participants - 70. Teachers of schools and kindergartens and others employees of municipal institutions  from  Kohtla-Järve took part in the online trainings.
