Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the My Festivals app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Samuel Rodas (hereby referred to as "Service Provider"). This service is provided "AS IS".

By downloading or using the Application, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. It is strongly advised that you read and understand these terms before using the Application.

Unauthorized copying, modification, distribution, or resale of the Application, any part of the Application, or the Service Provider's trademarks is strictly prohibited. Any attempt to extract the source code of the Application, translate the Application into other languages, or create derivative versions is not permitted. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.

The Service Provider is dedicated to ensuring that the Application is as useful and efficient as possible. The Service Provider reserves the right to modify, suspend, discontinue, or charge for the Application or any of its services at any time and for any reason. Any charges for the Application or its services will be clearly communicated to users.

The Application may store and process information that you provide or generate while using the Application, such as festival names, dates, artist selections, schedules, images, and preferences, in order to provide the Service. It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your device and access to the Application.

The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your device, which involves removing software restrictions and limitations imposed by the official operating system of your device. Such actions could expose your device to malware, viruses, or malicious programs, compromise your device's security features, and may result in the Application not functioning correctly or at all.

AI-Powered Scanning

The Application may include automatic scanning features that use third-party artificial intelligence services, including Firebase AI Logic and Google Gemini, to analyze images selected by the user, such as festival posters, lineups, or set times.

The Service Provider does not guarantee that the scanning results will always be complete, accurate, or error-free. Users are responsible for reviewing and confirming detected artists, stages, dates, and schedules before saving or relying on them.

Schedules and Reminders

The Application may allow users to organize festival schedules and receive reminders before selected artists perform. The Service Provider does not guarantee that schedules, dates, times, stages, or reminders will always be accurate, complete, or delivered on time.

Users are responsible for verifying festival information with official festival sources.

Artist Information and Third-Party Data

The Application may display artist information provided by third-party services, including Last.fm. This may include artist biographies, genres, popularity, top tracks, images, and links to music platforms.

The Service Provider does not own or guarantee the accuracy, availability, or completeness of third-party artist information. Artist names, images, biographies, tracks, genres, and related content may belong to their respective owners.

Festival and Artist Affiliation

My Festivals is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to any specific festival, event organizer, artist, venue, ticketing platform, music platform, or data provider.

Festival names, artist names, schedules, images, maps, logos, and related content may belong to their respective owners.

Third-Party Services

Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Terms and Conditions. These services may include:

- Firebase

- Google Analytics for Firebase

- Firebase AI Logic

- Google Gemini

- Last.fm

By using the Application, you acknowledge that your use of features powered by third-party services may also be subject to those third-party terms and policies.

Some functions of the Application require an active internet connection, which can be Wi-Fi or provided by your mobile network provider. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if the Application does not function at full capacity due to lack of internet access, network issues, service interruptions, or limitations of third-party providers.

If you are using the Application outside of a Wi-Fi area, your mobile network provider's terms may still apply. You may incur charges from your mobile provider for data usage, roaming, or other third-party charges. By using the Application, you accept responsibility for any such charges. If you are not the bill payer for the device on which you are using the Application, it is assumed that you have obtained permission from the bill payer.

The Service Provider cannot always assume responsibility for your use of the Application. It is your responsibility to ensure that your device remains charged and functional. If your device runs out of battery, loses connectivity, or is otherwise unable to access the Service, the Service Provider cannot be held responsible.

While the Service Provider strives to keep the Application useful and reliable, some information may be generated by users, extracted from images, or provided by third-party services. The Service Provider accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, that you may experience as a result of relying entirely on the Application, including scanned schedules, artist information, reminders, maps, images, or third-party data.

The Service Provider may update the Application from time to time. The Application is currently available for compatible operating systems, and system requirements may change. You may need to download updates to continue using the Application. The Service Provider does not guarantee that the Application will always be updated or compatible with every operating system version or device.

The Service Provider may cease providing the Application and may terminate its use at any time without providing prior notice. Unless otherwise stated, upon termination: (a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these Terms and Conditions will end; (b) you must stop using the Application; and (c) if necessary, delete it from your device.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

The Service Provider may periodically update these Terms and Conditions. You are advised to review this page regularly for any changes. The Service Provider will notify users of any changes by posting the updated Terms and Conditions on this page.

These Terms and Conditions are effective as of 2026-04-17.
