This privacy policy applies to the My Festivals app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Samuel Rodas (hereby referred to as "Service Provider"). This service is provided "AS IS".

Information Collection and Use

The Application may collect certain information when you download and use it. This may include information such as:

- Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)

- The pages or features of the Application that you use

- The time and date of your visit

- The time spent using the Application

- The operating system and device information used on your mobile device

- Product interaction data used to understand how the Application is used

The Application does not collect precise location information from your mobile device.

When you use the poster, lineup, or set times scanning features, the Application may process images selected by you in order to detect and organize festival artists, stages, and schedules. These images are used to provide the scanning functionality.

AI-Powered Image Analysis

The Application includes an automatic scanning feature that may use Firebase AI Logic and Google's Gemini models to analyze images selected by the user, such as festival posters, lineups, or set times. These images and related prompts may be transmitted to third-party services only to provide the requested analysis, such as detecting artist names, stages, and schedules.

The Service Provider does not use these images for advertising or tracking purposes. The Application does not intentionally collect personal information from these images. Users should avoid submitting images that contain sensitive personal information.

Analytics

The Application may use Firebase Analytics to collect usage and interaction data, such as app launches, feature usage, and general engagement. This information helps the Service Provider understand how the Application is used and improve its features and performance.

Analytics data is not used for third-party advertising or tracking purposes.

Third Party Access

The Application uses third-party services to support analytics, app functionality, and AI-powered image analysis. These third-party services may process certain information as necessary to provide their services.

The Application may transmit usage and interaction data to analytics services to help the Service Provider understand and improve the Application. When users choose to scan a poster, lineup, or set times image, the selected image and related request may be transmitted to AI processing services to provide the scanning feature.

The Service Provider does not sell user data and does not use collected data for third-party advertising or tracking purposes.

Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policies regarding data handling. These services may include:

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
with their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider will retain User Provided Data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. Images selected for scanning are used to provide the requested scanning functionality and are not intentionally stored by the Service Provider after the analysis is completed.

Please note that third-party services used by the Application may process data according to their own privacy policies and retention practices.

If you would like to request deletion of User Provided Data that you have provided through the Application, please contact the Service Provider at sam.dev.utility.apps@gmail.com.

Children

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (sam.dev.utility.apps@gmail.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

Your Consent

By using the Application, you consent to the collection and processing of information as described in this Privacy Policy, including the use of third-party services for analytics and AI-powered image analysis when you choose to use those features.

Festival Affiliation Disclaimer

My Festivals is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to any specific festival, event organizer, artist, venue, or ticketing platform. Festival names, artist names, images, schedules, and related information may belong to their respective owners.
